As the Google Developer Student Club Lead at Babcock University, I led the team that developed StudyStats — a GPA calculator and academic planning app tailored for Babcock students. What started as my personal habit of building CGPA tools while learning new programming languages became a campus-wide solution that now supports over 10,000 students in calculating grades, simulating outcomes, and tracking goals. Built with Flutter and Dart, StudyStats makes academic planning simple, intuitive, and impactful.

StudyStats – GPA Calculator & Academic Planner

I led the development of StudyStats, a GPA calculator and academic planning app built with Flutter and Dart. The app helps students calculate grades, simulate outcomes, and track progress in real time, making academic planning simple and effective.

Goal

Create a mobile-first platform that supports students in managing their academics more effectively. The goal was to provide accurate GPA calculations, easy simulation of future results, and tools for setting and tracking goals.

Challenge

The challenge was building a solution that could scale to thousands of students while remaining simple and intuitive. We focused on ensuring accurate calculations, fast performance, and a clean interface that students could use without friction.

Result

StudyStats is now live and has supported over 10,000 students. The app makes it easier for students to plan their academics, test different scenarios, and stay on track with their goals. Built entirely by students, it proves the impact of technology-driven solutions in education.
